Becoming a Confident Relational Leader

Many of the folks I coach who are growing into leadership roles feel like their style and approach is not what is expected from “a leader”. I work from the deeply held belief that everyone has leadership strengths and that often the mainstream idea of what “a leader” should act like is out of date for the times we live in. We work together to identify, name, and be able to articulate these strengths.

This particular client had both a strong background in creative work and intelligence and drive that pulled them into a fast growing, competitive sector that - on paper - is not usually considered creative.

Over twelve months, they spent a lot of time delving into understand the leadership lessons and style that they learned from creative spaces and how to bring that skillset to their current work. Namely, a relational leadership style and collaborative approach to building a client caseload.

Leaning into this knowledge, they were able to secure a major deal for their firm and positioned themselves not only as a powerful contributor to their organization, but also their community and sector
